Night Watch on Predator Ridge
Alert
Predator Ridge has registered heightened nocturnal movements overnight: acoustic monitors and cameras picked up repeated passages of a large predator along the southern edge of the zone. Visual evidence and footage indicate an adult Tyrannosaurus rex moving toward the Fern Forest boundary. Security patrols have been stepped up and perimeter checks are being carried out every thirty minutes.
The reason for the boundary activity is unclear: possibilities include hunting behavior or response to scents from migrating Diplodocus in nearby sector B-12. No breaches or structural damage to enclosures have been found so far, but visitor access in the border strip is temporarily restricted.
Veterinary and behavior teams are preparing a remote observation plan: the animal will be monitored using drones and infrared cameras where possible to reduce close encounters. Staff have been briefed on safety procedures and emergency reporting protocols.
Staff and guests are asked to avoid the southern perimeter of Predator Ridge, stay away from fencing, and report any fresh tracks or unusual sounds immediately. The situation is under control but requires heightened vigilance.
