Night Breach on Predator Ridge

Dawn on Predator Ridge: a young Tyrannosaurus by a damaged fence section as a small stegosaur herd retreats to rocky shelves. Incident
At 03:40 local time a night sensor on the western section of Predator Ridge recorded strong vibrations and loud vocalizations; patrol arrived within twenty minutes. A subadult Tyrannosaurus rex had pushed through a segment of low perimeter fencing and moved toward a steep ledge where a small group of Stegosaurus was grazing.

Rangers enacted night response protocols: remote acoustic deterrents, light markers and a single patrol vehicle guided the predator back into the interior of the zone. During the brief pursuit several Stegosaurus retreated to rockier shelves, sustaining minor superficial scratches. There were no serious injuries and no human casualties.

Structural inspection found the breach to be localized — two metal posts and a stretch of mesh were compromised. Maintenance crews began immediate reinforcement and replacement; patrol frequency has been increased and temporary sonic barriers installed along the suspected route of egress.

The subadult Tyrannosaurus behaved in a focused but non-directedly aggressive manner toward personnel, appearing driven by curiosity and resource-seeking. Behavioral teams will continue close observation, add remote cameras, and review feeding routes in adjacent zones to reduce recurrence.
